Quick Setup Guide

This guide will help you configure Yume-chan on your server in less than 10 minutes.

Step 1: Invite the Bot​

If you haven't done so already, invite Yume-chan to your server:

Permissions

The bot will automatically request the necessary permissions. It's important to accept them all for it to work correctly.

Step 2: Access the Web Panel​

  1. Go to panel.yumechanbot.com
  2. Click on "Login with Discord"
  3. Authorize access
  4. Select your server from the list
Administrators Only

Only users with Administrator or Manage Server permissions can access the panel.

Step 3: Basic Configuration​

Logs allow you to see everything that happens on your server.

Option A: By Command

/logs mensajes canal:#logs
/logs miembros canal:#logs
/logs moderacion canal:#logs
/logs voz canal:#logs

Option B: From the Panel

  1. Go to "Logs" in the panel
  2. Select a channel for each type
  3. Click "Save"
tip

You can use the same channel for all logs or separate each type into different channels.

3.2 Enable Auto-Moderation​

Protect your server automatically:

By Command:

/automod spam activar:true mensajes:5
/automod raid activar:true
/automod links activar:true

From the Panel:

  1. Go to "Auto-moderation"
  2. Enable the modules you need
  3. Adjust sensitivity

3.3 Configure Welcome Messages​

Welcome new members:

By Command:

/welcome canal canal:#welcome
/welcome mensaje mensaje:Welcome `{user}` to `{server}`! 🌸
/welcome imagen activar:true
/welcome rol rol:@Member

From the Panel:

  1. Go to "Welcome"
  2. Select the channel
  3. Customize the message
  4. Enable AI image (optional)
  5. Assign auto role (optional)

Step 4: Additional Features (Optional)​

Reaction Roles​

Allow users to self-assign roles:

  1. Create a panel: /reactionrole crear titulo:Choose your roles
  2. Add roles: /reactionrole agregar mensaje_id:[ID] rol:@Gamer emoji:🎮

Ticket System​

For support:

  1. Setup: /ticket setup categoria:Tickets soporte:@Support
  2. Create panel: /ticket panel titulo:Support

Starboard​

Highlight popular messages:

/starboard setup canal:#starboard minimo:5

Step 5: Test Everything​

  1. Send a test message in different channels
  2. Check logs to see if they work
  3. Test welcome: /welcome test
  4. Try spam (privately) to test automod

Advanced Configuration​

Automatic Warnings​

Configure automatic actions based on accumulated warns:

From the Panel:

  1. Go to "Warnings"
  2. Configure actions:
    • 3 warns = Timeout 1 hour
    • 5 warns = Kick
    • 7 warns = Ban

Levels and XP​

Enable the level system:

From the Panel:

  1. Go to "Levels"
  2. Enable the system
  3. Configure level rewards

Server Economy​

Customize the economy:

From the Panel:

  1. Go to "Economy"
  2. Adjust daily/weekly rewards
  3. Enable/disable systems

Community Server​

Troubleshooting​

The bot doesn't respond​

  1. Verify the bot is online (green circle)
  2. Check bot permissions on the server
  3. Try /help to see if it responds

Logs don't work​

  1. Verify the logs channel exists
  2. Check that the bot can write in that channel
  3. Review configuration: /logs ver

Auto-mod doesn't delete messages​

  1. Bot needs "Manage messages" permission
  2. Verify it's enabled: Panel > Auto-moderation
  3. Bot role must be above the roles to moderate

Welcome messages don't appear​

  1. Verify the channel: /welcome canal
  2. Test with: /welcome test
  3. Check that the bot can write in the channel

Use the Web Panel​

To configure everything more easily:

panel.yumechanbot.com
