Confessions - Anonymous Confession System

Allows users to send anonymous confessions to the server's confession channel.

Command

/confession

Opens a modal to write an anonymous confession

Example:

/confession

How It Works

  1. Execute the command - Use /confession in any channel
  2. Write your confession - A private modal opens where you write your confession
  3. Anonymous submission - The confession is published in the confession channel without revealing your identity

Features

Total Anonymity

  • Your name does not appear in the confession
  • Only administrators can see who sent a confession (for moderation)
  • Each confession has a unique ID

Moderation

  • Administrators can delete inappropriate confessions
  • Cooldown system to prevent spam
  • Banned words filter

Interaction

  • Users can react to confessions
  • You can respond to confessions anonymously
  • Confession counter per server

Configuration

The administrator must configure:

  1. Confessions channel (/setup > Confessions)
  2. Cooldown between confessions
  3. Banned words (optional)

Important Notes

  • Confessions are anonymous to users, but admins can see the author for moderation
  • Confessions that violate server rules are not allowed
  • There is a waiting time between confessions to prevent spam
  • The system uses Discord modals for greater privacy
